Alongside general practice, Dr Messiha’s passion lies in cosmetic aesthetics, not just in injectables, but also assisting with skin conditions like active acne, rosacea, sun damage, surgical scarring & hormonal pigmentation. Dr Gina Messiha is the Co-principal and director of Ocean Village Medical Centre and Ocean Cosmetics. She Graduated from SCU in Egypt in 1991. She was trained in obstetric and gynaecology for 6 years prior to starting her career in general practice. Dr Messiha is a fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She is also a member of The Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia . Dr Messiha has been a medical educator and an examiner in the The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has taken a new role as an advanced trainer in Aesthetics with Galderma. She has special interest in women and children’s health and mental health. She also has great experience in difficult skin conditions like acne, acne scarring , hormonal pigmentation and aging. She believes that teaching and continuing education are essential for achieving and maintaining excellent skills and knowledge. She has a love of travelling for international conferences and cooking.
