After having a daughter, and completing the Fellowship for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the family travelled to work in the Republic of Kiribati, a tropical paradise with extremely poor health standards. She is a regular yoga practitioner as well as meditator, both of which have a profound impact on her health.
