Dr Viviers completed his initial medical training at the University of Stellenbosch in 1999. He obtained his post graduate qualification through the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners. Dr Viviers worked in hospital medicine for 3 years, in South Africa and the United Kingdom. He has been working in general practice since 2003, in New Zealand as well as Australia. Dr Viviers enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in diabetes management
