George’s Story George has lived in Glen Iris for many years and has dreamed of one day opening his very own special dental practice. Gardiner Dental is George’s 4th ‘baby”. A passionate family man, George understands people’s dental needs and those of their families. He would like for you to feel confident when choosing Gardiner Dental that you will be in good hands.
Qualifications and experience Graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2001 with both a Bachelor of Dental Science and a Bachelor of Science, George has over 15 years experience working in private practice dentistry. He is a long time member of the Australian Dental Association including whilst a dental student, George is a firm advocate of maintaining the highest professional memberships and affiliations in order to give his patients the benefit of best standards of care.

My commitment to every patient who walks into Gardiner Dental is that I will take the time to listen to their goals, alleviate their concerns, and determine their dental needs objectively. My desire is that every patient will walk out saying, “Wow! Dr. Kokkinos really takes care of my teeth and I feel comfortable and confident about his care recommendations.”
My favourite patients are people who understand that preventive dental care isn’t just a matter of avoiding pain. Poor dental health affects the health of our whole body and having straight, white teeth gives us the confidence to smile and reach out to people. Since graduating from dental school, I have continued to build my knowledge and skills and can take care of most dental needs here at Gardiner Dental. When required, I also have a strong network of specialists to whom I refer patients as needed.
Patients call me the happiest perfectionist they ever met because I love to laugh, and I am not satisfied until they are (and sometimes not even then). It gives me enormous pleasure when patients look in the mirror and take pride in their smile!
