Dr George Finikiotis obtained his specialist degree in 1983. For the next 25 years he worked as a research fellow and then Senior Consultant Gynaecologist at Flinders Medical Centre and Royal Adelaide Hospitals. In the early 1980's he helped introduce Hysteroscopy to Australia, an area he continues to specialise in today. He has published many articles in national and international journals on this topic. In 2000, George came to Sydney where he has remained in a busy gynaecological practice. He stopped delivering babies in 1996 but continues to consult and advise patients in the early part of pregnancy until 12 weeks gestation.
