Since then Dr Dance has been working in both public and private practice primarily in North Queensland, in Townsville. Geoff started the practice Townsville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (TOMS) in 2008 and he ran the very successful practice for 10 years. Geoff has an ongoing interest in research and currently is working closely with Orthodontists, particularly Dr Desmond Ong, looking at outcomes of Autotransplantation of teeth. He recently lectured in Townsville at the Tony Rotondo Memorial Conference on this topic. Geoff spends his free time playing with his 5 year old daughter, bushwalking, doing photography and he is a keen birdwatcher. He is passionate about revegetating and restoring his rural property in Johanna, on Victoria’s Great Ocean Road.
