Geoff graduated in Medicine at the University of Queensland in 1971. He had extensive training in General Medicine at Princess Alexandra Hospital, and Cairns Base Hospital before commencing General Practice on the Gold Coast in 1978. He was introduced to the concept of Cardiac Dynamics, by its founder in Australia, Dr Peter Kamen, in 1997. It proved the ideal vehicle in which to merge his scientific and medical training with his General Practice experience with valued colleagues.

Always an avid advocate for the Gold Coast medical community, Geoff has served on various committees including Pindara Hospital Board of Advice and was the long-standing chairman of the Pharmacy Committee. He is a Past- President of the Gold Coast Medical Association, and served as the Gold Coast Local Representative to AMA Queensland.

Geoff has been fortunate to enjoy a balance of work, family and lifestyle commitments. This has been enhanced in recent years through his association with Mark Wescott, and his Strategic Life Planning programme of personal development.

Recreation sees Geoff swimming, running or boating on board “Vagus” named after the cardioprotective nerve in the body.
