Dr Gary Wong graduated from the University of Sydney with Honours. He worked in Hornsby Hospital for three years before completing his general practice training in Grafton and Dubbo. After attaining his Fellowship in General Practice, he travelled through South America for five months before returning to settle in Dubbo in 2004.
Dr Wong enjoys the variety of family medicine and is involved in the teaching of medical students and GP registrars. He has an interest in travel medicine and is registered to provide Yellow Fever vaccinations.
Dr Wong has three daughters who were all born in Dubbo and he enjoys playing touch football, bike riding with his wife and children, and supports the Wallabies.
