Dr Gareth Burns graduated from Melbourne University in 2006. He undertook advanced training in gastroenterology at Western Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital and is currently completing a PhD though the University of Melbourne. He currently works clinically through St Vincent’s and Western Hospital hospitals and has an interest in viral hepatitis. He has published in this area and presented at local and international conferences.
