Dr. Frances was born and raised in Sydney, completing medical training at the University of NSW. During internship and residency, she earned a Diploma in Child Health from Westmead Hospital and soon realised that general practice was the right path.

With a passion for rural healthcare, Dr. Frances pursued further procedural training to deliver obstetric care to women in Newcastle and Maitland. After moving up the Hunter Valley, she put those skills into practice, providing care in a small town while completing the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and the advanced rural fellowship (FARGP). All of this was achieved while managing on-call duties in the local ED and maternity unit and growing a beautiful family, including getting married and having four children! Last year, Dr. Frances and the family made the move back to Sydney to be closer to loved ones. With a commitment to delivering high-quality, whole-life care, Dr. Frances brings the same passion for rural GP work to the city. Special interests include paediatrics and women’s health, but she enjoys seeing patients of all ages, providing care not just in sickness but also in wellness, helping them plan for a healthy and fulfilling life.
