The Papua New Guinea Eye Care Project, founded and coordinated by Darwin Ophthalmologist Dr Frances Booth, has been delivering clinical visits to Papua New Guinea each year since 1995. During their visits, Dr Booth and her team engage local ophthalmologists, optometrists, and refractionists in the provision of services to facilitate skills transfer to the local health personnel.
