Completing a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Melbourne in 2004, then undertaking her residency years in Geelong Hospital, Fiona focused on generalist training in preparation for volunteer work in Africa in 2007. In 2008, she commenced training in Emergency Medicine at the Royal Darwin Hospital and after successfully passing exams decided a career change was necessary. In 2010, she switched to General Practice training and then graduated with a Fellowship of General Practice in 2012. Fiona completed a Masters of Public Health in 2014 and actively engages in continual professional development. To compliment her conventional practice, she is also undertaking further training in nutrition and environmental medicine, including study with the Australian College of Nutrition and Environmental Medicine. She has completed training in Biobalance and MAPS training with MINND Foundation.
