Her interest is mental health and mind-body balance. Has an Honours degree in Psychology with Physiology and membership of the British Psychological Society. Is self taught in mindfulness meditation, has completed part 1 of the Human Givens diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy and produced published work on incorporating psychological skills into medical consultations. She supports women in healthcare through the Medical Women’s Federation and keeps informed on global developments in primary care through the World Organisation of Family Doctors. Educational contributions include participating as a MBBS examiner for the University of London. She enjoys travelling and is delighted to have the opportunity to work abroad in Australia. She is a keen artist, finds mindfulness in yoga, likes the convenience of running and loves Indonesian food.
