Dr Faiza Khan has been practising as a GP since 2009, including her GP training at Bacchus Marsh and a 6 month period at Ararat. Whilst working in the outer suburban areas, she had the rights to admit patients to the local hospital both in Ararat and Bacchus Marsh and enjoyed a variety of clinical scenarios including COPD exacerbations, wound infections, pneumonias and palliative patients for end of life care.
She has a knack for attracting all sorts of complex cases and her platter can vary from mental health problems to paediatrics across the day. She has done a post graduate diploma in paediatrics from CHW (through UNSW) and is currently finishing her Masters in Women’s Health, hopefully to be completed by next year!
