Eva was born in Sydney and studied Medicine at the University of NSW. She gained her Fellowship of the College of General Practice in 1994. Eva has a Diploma of Child Health from Westmead Childrens Hospital and a Certificate of Sexual and Reproductive Health from the Family Planning Association. Eva first worked in a General Practice in Eastwood. She was a partner in Pennant Hills Medical Centre from 1995 until 2006. Eva lived in London for 2 years before moving back to Sydney to live in the Inner West. She joined First Ave Family practice in 2011. Eva has three daughters who live in Sydney and is happy to be expecting her first grandchild in June this year.
