Dr Ern Chang comes to Banksia with over 20 years of clinical experience. He has been a General Practitioner in Geelong and the Surf Coast region since 2008, and is excited to join the clinical team at Banksia after working in larger practices.
Ern looks forward to providing personalised healthcare in a welcoming small-practice environment such as Banksia’s.
He has a keen interest in preventative health, men's health, and care of patients with chronic illnesses. As a father of two teenagers, Ern also enjoys caring for children and their families.
Apart from providing care to his patients, Ern is also actively involved in training and education roles – he is a Medical Educator with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and teaches medical students at the Deakin University Medical School.
Dr Chang is avaliable most days of the week and every third Saturday morning.
