Dr Song graduated from the University of NSW in 1997, and worked in Concord hospital and Royal Prince Alfred hospital in his early career. He acquired fellowship in RACGP, followed by dermatology diploma at Cardiff University. He subsequently undertook dermatologic research at the University of Sydney in field of UV radiation, skin cancer and vitamin D. He is currently working to further specialise at Westmead hospital in anatomical pathology with interest in dermatopathology
