Dr Emma Lewis is a dual qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who completed her training in Adelaide and Perth becoming a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2002. She obtained a Bachelor of Dental surgery from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Western Australia. Emma has spent 11 years in Florida, USA where she became an Associate Professor and Director of Training at the University of Florida in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Centre for Implant Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology. Emma practices all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery including orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery, pathology including cysts of the jaws, comprehensive implant treatment including implant placement and bone grafting as well as all aspects of dentoalveolar surgery. She operates at South Perth Hospital and St John’s Hospital Mt Lawley. Emma also enjoys teaching and is currently the Director of Training for WA OMS and is a consultant at Fiona Stanley and Fremantle Hospitals.
