Dr Emily Ta graduated from the University of Sydney with Honours. She then underwent further medical training at both Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Concord Hospital. Subsequently she enrolled into the Family Medicine Program in order to gain more in depth experience in general practice. She graduated from the program in 1999 and became a Fellow of the Australian College of General Practice.
