Dr Emily McCallum graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2011.

She spent 2 years working as a resident medical officer at Ipswich Hospital in Queensland and the last 5 years working in general practice in Ipswich. Emily received her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2016. Having an interest in paediatrics, Emily completed a Diploma in Child Health through the Children’s Hospital at Westmead (DCH) in 2013. Her other professional interest areas include women’s health, aged care, chronic disease management and skin cancer medicine. In 2018 she completed the Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine Online run by HealthCert International.

Emily decided to move to the Tweed area after enjoying many holidays at Kingscliff beach over the years. In her spare time she enjoys spending time at the beach, catching up with family and friends and playing the piano.
