Dr Emily Kotschet has extensive experience in arrhythmia management, including catheter ablation, with special expertise in curative atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation and special interest in arrhythmias in pregnancy and congenital heart disease.
Emily completed basic cardiology training at the Alfred Hospital, followed by specialist electrophysiology fellowship training at Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne and two years at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria, Canada.
Emily has performed over 300 catheter ablations and has a special interest in atrial fibrillation, having performed over 100 curative ablation procedures. Emily also inserts pacemakers, implantable defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy for heart failure.
