Dr Emily Blyth is a haematologist and bone marrow transplant physician with a research interest in translation T cell immunotherapies. She has worked at the Westmead Campus since 2004 after moving from St Vincent's Hospital, Darlinghurst. After completing her advanced training in haematology she went on to doctoral studies at the University of Sydney in the Cellular Therapies Group at Westmead Millennium Institute. Her PhD studies were supported by a Clinical Research Fellowship from the Leukaemia Foundation of Australia, a NSW Cancer Institute Research Scholar Award and the Royal College of Pathologists Research Award. Since 2009 she has worked in private haematological practice and she took up an appointment as staff specialist haematologist at Westmead Hospital in 2011. She is also appointed as a clinical research fellow at the University of Sydney. Clinical interests include malignant haematology and transplantation.
