Beth has been actively involved in the region since 1974 having spent her teenage years on the family farm at Blampied. Beth graduated from Monash University in 1983, and has had a longstanding commitment to rural medicine since then. In addition to regional Victorian rotations, she spent 2 years based in Katherine, NT working with remote indigenous communities in the 1980’s.
Beth has been working as a general practitioner in Daylesford since 1989. She has amongst other recent interests had a 10 year involvement with the Royal Flying Doctor Service through their remote rural women’s health project.
Beth enjoys being involved with the local Daylesford Hospital and has been an active member of their risk management program for many years. She loves other aspects of community engagement and has been overwhelmed by the success of the Springs Kids Art Project.
Like all of her valued colleagues at Springs Medical she enjoys a commitment to teaching, ongoing education and evidence based whole person care.
