Dr Elizabeth (Eli) Cowling gained her Medical Degree from James Cook University in 2010 and worked at Townsville Hospital for two years before moving to Melbourne to work at Monash Medical Centre in obstetrics and gynaecology. Dr Cowling then spent time working in General Practice at Creswick & Clunes where she gained in-depth knowledge in shared antenatal care, women’s health, chronic disease management, palliative care, nursing home visits, child/adolescent health, family medicine, and mental health.
In 2017, Dr Cowling relocated to back Townsville with her family and enjoyed spending time exploring the rainforests, beaches and all that life in the tropics had to offer. She has now returned ‘home’ to Ballarat where she grew up to raise her own two young sons.
