Graduated from Sydney University in 1978. He worked in St Vincents and Westmead hospitals for 4 years before doing anaesthetics in 1985 at Orange Base Hospital. Since then he has lived and worked in Bellingen. His interests are anaesthetics, diabetes, cardiology, geriatrics. Don has completed training in APLS (Advanced Paeds Life Support) and EMST(Emergency Management of Severe Trauma). He is a keen but ageing soccer player and keen amateur astronomer.
