Dr Lewis is very much a part of the medical community involved in the treatment of CFS, and continues to be informed from well-established information sources . He is in communication with international and local specialists, and attends conferences on CFS both in Australia and overseas. With a personal interest in this illness, he has been solely dedicated, through CFS Discovery, to the research and treatment of CFS/ME since 1985. His understanding of the illness is constantly extended by data gathered, research undertaken, journals, continued contact with reputable centres and clinical experience. He has lectured doctors on the illness with presentations at various conferences, including the ME/CFS Conference. He too has had a number of publications on the topic. He is an integral part of research teams at a number of universities, currently conducting latest edge studies on ME/CFS waiting to be published as never before.
