Dr Dominic Lunn (Radiation Oncologist)

Dr Dominic Lunn is a consultant Radiation Oncologist at Radiation Oncology Centres (ROC), Gold Coast.

Dr Lunn attended the University of Queensland as an undergraduate and received a first class honours degree in molecular biology before spending several years working in medical research both in Australia and overseas. In 2000, he enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland, and graduated with honours. He began training in radiation oncology in 2008 was awarded fellowship to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in early 2012. He subsequently completed a fellowship in palliative care at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane and worked as a palliative care specialist and locum radiation oncologist until late 2013 when he was involved in setting up the radiation oncology service at ROC Gold Coast University Hospital.

He is currently director of training at ROC Gold Coast and is actively involved in several clinical trials. He has a special interest in palliative radiation therapy and has a wide scope of practice including the treatment of lung, gynaecological, genitourinary, breast and central nervous system (CNS) malignancies.
