Dr Noovao aims to provide the best care and expertise by educating his patients on the varying conditions they present with. By doing so, the patient is at the centre of the decision making process for their management.
While his specific areas of interest are in foot and ankle surgery, his repertoire of operative experience also includes joint replacement of the hip, knee, and ankle. He also offers surgery for acute fractures of most regions of the body.
Irrespective of your orthopaedic condition, Dr Noovao always aims to provide you with treatment which results in the best outcomes, with the quickest recovery and the least discomfort. Dr Noovao first worked on the Sunshine Coast in 2014 after becoming attracted to the coastal geography and its people. He became a member of Nambour General Hospital’s Orthopaedic Department in March 2016. He is actively involved in training and supervision of orthopaedic trainees, junior doctors as well as medical students.
Dr Noovao completed his medical training in New Zealand, qualifying as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012. He went on to further his training by completing fellowships in foot and ankle and upper limb in 2012 in New Zealand and a 12 month fellowship in Brisbane in 2013. In 2015, he went on to complete a fellowship in trauma and lower limb deformity correction at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
