Dr Elhalawani holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (Honours) from Alexandria University in Egypt (2004) and an Advanced Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (2012). She has practiced medicine in Australia since 2006, having gained accreditation through the Australian Medical Council and fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), is an Australian citizen and speaks fluent English and Arabic. Dr Elhalawani has practiced all aspects of general practice since joining Warrnambool Medical Clinic in 2012, with a particular interest in women’s health, paediatrics and adolescent health. She is an accredited supervisor of GP Registrars at Warrnambool Medical Clinic and contributes to the teaching of medical students attached to our clinic.
