I graduated from University of Tasmania in 2011 with certificate of academic excellence, listed on the UTAS dean's honour role. I have completed a Diploma of Child Health with University of Sydney (2016). I have also completed a Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery and a Certificate of Dermoscopy. I will become a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice in early 2017. I enjoy the variety of presentations I encounter in general practice. I have a sub-interest in skin cancer medicine and am completing further training in the area currently. Having completed a Diploma of Child health, I have additional training in paediatrics. My work history includes an intern year and resident year at the Royal Hobart Hospital and a critical care year at Western Health (in Victoria), training in intensive care and anaesthetics. I have have been a locum doctor in emergency medicine (in rural Victoria). My work in anaesthetics has given me a solid grounding in the management of acute and chronic pain - areas I also have interest. Outside of medicine, I enjoy playing rugby with the Hobart Hutchins Lions Rugby Union Club. I completed my schooling in Hobart and love Tasmania. I hope to work long term in Hobart and enjoy working with the excellent team at Eastern Shore Doctors
