Dr Holmes-Walker's key clinical interests are management of type I diabetes in young people with services provided through a dedicated clinic and use of new technologies in diabetes care including insulin pump therapy. General Endocrinology, Thyroid and Bone clinics are held in the University Clinic at Westmead. She is also Endocrinologist to the National Islet cell transplant program based at Westmead. Research interests are in clinical islet cell transplantation and improving service delivery to young people with chronic health conditions as they transition from paediatric to adult health services.
