Experience
Dr Holt served 26 years in the Royal Australian Air Force, initially as a Pilot flying C130 Hercules aircraft, then as a Test Pilot and finally as a Doctor. He grew up in Sydney and first moved to Perth in 1990 where he met his wife. In 2006, after many years living in different parts of Australia and in the UK, he and his family returned to Perth. Dr Holt and his wife have four children and enjoy the benefits of living in Perth.
Special Interests
Dr Holt enjoys all aspects of General Practice with special interests in Men’s Health, Veteran’s Health, Aviation Medicine, Diving Medicine and Occupational Medicine.
Men’s Health
Dr Holt has a keen interest in helping men achieve and maintain good health. He enjoys working with all aspects of men’s health.
Veteran’s Health
Dr Holt spent 26 years in the Royal Australian Air Force and has also worked as a GP with the Royal Australian Navy and the Australian Army. He has a good understanding of the experiences and needs of Veterans.
Aviation Medicine
Dr Holt was an Aviation Medical Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force and is a DAME for CASA. He also spent 12 years as a pilot with the Royal Australian Air Force including one year with the Royal Air Force in the UK. Diving Medicine
Dr Holt has completed the Medical Officer Underwater Medical Course with the Royal Australian Navy Submarine and Underwater Medicine Unit. He is qualified to do Recreational and Occupational Diving Medicals.
Occupational Medicine
Dr Holt has experience in Occupational Medicine both in Defence and in the commercial sector.
