Dr. David Hoadley is a dedicated and experienced GP with a longstanding commitment to general practice as a profession. He is a Fellow of both the Australian and New Zealand Colleges. For 35 years a senior partner in his own practice in Auckland he holds post- graduate qualifications in Family Medicine and was for twenty years a senior lecturer in the Department of General Practice at Auckland Medical School. In 2009, David was awarded a Distinguished Service Medal for services to general practice and medical education. David has a broad-spectrum interest in promoting good health with a special interest in the management of chronic conditions. He and his wife Judi have now moved permanently to North Caulfield to be closer to children and grandchildren. In his spare time, amongst other interests, David is a dedicated yoga practitioner and has some training and experience teaching Iyengar Yoga. David speaks reasonably fluent Hebrew and has had a close involvement with the Israel Medical Federation, for many years serving as President of the NZ Branch.
