Dr Golovsky is an experienced andrologist and urologist and an authority on male reproductive surgery.
With more than 30 years’ experience in this field, his surgical and male physiology and pathology expertise has helped many couples overcome issues with male infertility. He specialises in urinary tract reconstruction and microsurgery, including reversal of vasectomy and relief of epididymal obstruction, as well as vasectomy.
After graduating from the University of Sydney, Dr Golovsky trained at the College of Surgeons in London and then returned to Australia to begin work at Prince Henry Hospital. He has also consulted at Concord Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital, where he was a Chair of the Division of Surgery.
He has also served as President of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand, and Chair of their Scientific Advisory Committee. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS).
Dr Golovsky consults at IVFAustralia, providing a male infertility clinic one day per week at the city clinic, and carries out surgery at the North Shore Specialist Day Hospital.
