David trained in Sydney and at Royal Perth Hospital before completing a two year Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology and basic research in vascular biology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, USA. After working as an interventional Cardiologist and Director of the Coronary Care Unit at Fremantle Hospital, David took up appointments as an Interventional Cardiologist at the Royal Melbourne and Western Hospitals in 1997. He subsequently attained a Masters degree in Clinical Epidemiology. David's interests include complex coronary angioplasty, intra vascular ultrasound and research in the areas of acute coronary syndromes and angioplasty outcomes databases. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne. David provides consultations at Melbourne Private Consulting suites, Balwyn Consulting suites, Bundoora.
