David completed his medical degree at the Australian National University having undertaken a bachelor degree in Arts and Music and The University of Melbourne and worked in the performing arts as a musician, composer and dancer. He spent time at the Royal Melbourne Hospital as a junior doctor and has now moved to live on the Surfcoast with his family. He has an interest in indigenous health, minor surgical procedures and palliative care, and thoroughly enjoys the diversity of general practice. Following his FRACGP fellowship he completed a rural FARGP fellowship and has commenced training in the use of Point of Care Ultrasound to provide a comprehensive service to his community. He is a registered pharmacotherapy provider. David consults from our Anglesea practice. David is a member of Giving What We Can and is interested in effective altruism as a way to reduce poverty and health inequity around the world. He is also the founder of The Sound Doctor Presents, a group of Surfcoast music lovers passionate about bringing established artists to perform in an intimate venue in Anglesea, Victoria.
