Originally from Western Australia, David initially trained in Ear Nose and Throat Surgery before embracing Plastic Surgery. After several years in private practice he pursued further fellowship experience, spending three years in Dallas and Toronto with world leaders in the areas of Cleft Lip and Palate, Craniofacial Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery. David’s passion is correcting facial and skull deformities in children, and he volunteers three to four times a year to operate and teach in developing countries with charity organization Operation Smile.
In addition to a half time appointment at The Royal Children’s Hospital, David operates privately at Mercy Private, Epworth Cliveden and La Trobe Private in Bundoora.
David is committed to excellent patient care and prides himself on communication and surgical care.
