David Bannister completed residency training at Prince Henrys Hospital and the Royal Children?s Hospital in Melbourne. Graduated as a Paediatrician after further overseas training in U.K. and Canada (McMaster University, Hamilton Ontario.) Spent the next 30 years in regional paediatrics at Frankston on the Mornington Peninsula. After further training in Paediatric Allergy in 1991, he is now involved full time in allergy, working in private practice and in the Allergy/Immunology Dept. at RCH teaching Paediatricians and registrars. Involved in AMC (Australian Medical Council) as a senior examiner for overseas doctors.
