David Austin graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 2004. Dr Austin then worked as a dentist at a variety of private general and specialist orthodontics clinics across Melbourne, as well as working part time for the Australian Defence Force.
He began his specialist training in orthodontics at the University of Hong Kong in 2007. Three years later he moved from Hong Kong to Shanghai, where he worked in a renowned clinic, treating expatriates from all over the world.
Recently, Dr Austin was inducted into the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, as a member in orthodontics. He is also a member of the Australian Dental Association, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the European Orthodontic Society and the Hong Kong Society of Orthodontists.
