Danielle is an accredited registrar of the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (ACSEP)
Danielle has been appointed to work with Western Jets Football Club (AFL TAC Cup U-18s) for this 2016 season.
Danielle’s keen interests in sport, non-surgical management of sporting injuries and her focus on rehabilitation have swayed the future direction of her practice to expand on these areas as a sports physician registrar.
Danielle enjoys providing medical care and game day coverage to several sports including AFL, rugby and triathlon. Having successfully completed the Australasian College of Surgeons’ Basic Surgical Training program, she also assists at orthopaedic operations and has an active role in managing rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injury or surgery.
Danielle relishes the opportunity to help her patients resume a balanced and active lifestyle.
Her personal sporting interests include rowing, running, cycling, swimming and she enjoys competing in both short and long course triathlon.
Qualifications: MBBS (Hons); BMedSci (Hons) Research: A study in Ballistics: A review of the wounding patterns of the firearms used in the Port Arthur Multi-shooting event and an epidemiologic study of the causes of firearm related deaths in Queensland and Tasmania 1992-1997. Current Research: assessing patient recall in shoulder instability episodes.
