Dr Daniel Otuonye is one of the Partners at Bairnsdale Medical Group. He obtained his primary medical degree from Nigeria. After arriving in Australia he completed his fellowship of the Royal Australian General practitioners in 2009 working in various areas including Royal Adelaide Hospital, Woman’s and Children’s Hospital(Adelaide) and many other Rural and Remote areas of Australia gaining a wealth of experience. He has also completed a Diploma in Child’s Health Westmead University and has an Advanced Diploma from the Royal Australian and NewZealand College of Obstetrics and gynaecology. Currently he is also a Visiting Medical officer at the Bairnsdale Regional Hospital with admitting rights where he is involved with general medical care, Emergency, paediatric inpatient care and Obstetric care including postpartum care. Dr Daniel also is actively involved with management of in care clients at various nursing homes within our region.
