Daniel graduated from the University of Dundee in 2000.
After completing 12 months of internship in Perth, Scotland, he went on to gain more experience in Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, and Emergency Medicine. Experience Subsequently, he entered General Practice residency, training in the rural town of Rugby, England. After he gained his MRCGP qualification, Daniel spent sometime working as a ship physician on Carnival Cruise Lines, and a volunteer doctor in the Amazon of Peru and Himaylaya of Nepal. He gained further training in Tropical Medicine and Dermatology at the University of Liverpool and Cardiff, respectively.
His other qualifications include FRACGP, CCFP, and an MPhil from University of Cambridge. Before moving to Australia, Daniel was working as a GP in rural Canada.
