Dr Daniel McKay obtained his medical degree at University of Melbourne with honours and undertook ophthalmology training at Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital (RVEEH). Dr McKay completed further subspecialty training in cataract surgery and medical retina at Monash Health and the Ocular Oncology Unit at RVEEH and Royal Liverpool University Hospital United Kingdom.
He was awarded RANZCO Undergraduate Medal and RANZCO Ophthalmic Pathology Medal. Dr McKay is also a consultant in Anatomical Pathology (FRCPA) at Eastern Health.
