A/Prof Dr Daniel Lin is a Visiting Medical Officer in the Department of Paediatrics at Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals. He is also a Visiting Medical Officer at the Children's Hospital at Westmead, Westmead Private Hospital and Macquarie University Hospital.

He graduated from The University of Sydney in 1990. His Paediatric training was conducted and completed at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children at Camperdown and the Children's Hospital at Westmead.

He has been trained in EMST (Emergency Management of Severe Trauma), EMSB (Emergency Management of Severe Burns), Advanced Neonatal Life Support and is an instructor in Advanced Paediatric Life Support.

He was appointed as Director of Medical Education at BMDH from 2000-2003 and continues to be actively involved in teaching at the Western Clinical School, Westmead Hospital establishing the Clinical Approach to Structured Examination (CASE) program. He is also involved in the new post graduate medical program at Macquarie University.

He has been in clinical Paediatric practice for more than 20 years and manages infants and children in all areas of Paediatrics.
