Dr Moldovan is a medical oncologist currently practicing at Icon Cancer Centre Hobart, Calvary Hospital and Royal Hobart Hospital. Her clinical expertise covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies including melanoma, gynaecological malignancies, brain and central nervous system malignancies, lung, breast, genitourinary and colorectal cancer.

Dr Moldovan has been actively involved in clinical research throughout her career and is looking forward to bringing clinical trials to Icon Cancer Centre Hobart, as well as increasing collaborative research with other institutions such as the Menzies Institute.

Dr Moldovan is committed to providing personalised, patient-centered care. She completed her specialist training at a number of respected cancer care institutions in Victoria, including the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Research Institute and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. She also trained at the Royal Hobart Hospital, where she has worked for the past couple of years. Dr Moldovan was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in July 2018.

A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy ‘Carol Davila’ (UMPCD) in Bucharest, Romania, Dr Moldovan was awarded the Australian Medical Council certificate in 2010. She is fluent in English, Romanian, French and Italian.
