Courtney has completed Master’s level training in Forensic Psychology and has experience working within a variety of community, custodial, health, and private settings. Her early career trajectory is varied and is comprised extended breaks through living as an expat, pivoting between roles and contexts, accumulating experiences within diverse aspects of the community, and thus coming into relation with her personal metaphysics. Courtney is engaged with professional relationships domestically and internationally, and gravitates towards esoteric community engagements and philosophical discussions.

Courtney offers a compelling approach to individual therapy with predominately Millennial adults. She has a deep sensitivity for the generational and systemic dynamics that shape generational conditions, and takes the position that you can learn and integrate this knowledge as part of maintaining personal wellbeing. She utilises an various theoretical and practical therapeutic processes which supports clients to engage deeply in their own human journey.

When working with Courtney, the following concepts are part of how any current challenges are formulated: Mentalisation and metacognition, Mindfulness, Somatic experiencing, Gestalt, Psychodynamic and relational theory, Polyvagal theory, Narrative therapy, Self, and Identity, Acceptance, Depth psychology, Attachment theory and psychoanalysis, and Distress tolerance.

Her natural orientation supports the idea that we heal and expand through meaningful, intimate, and trusting connection with others and she provides a comfortable, collaborative, and compassionate therapeutic space to do just this.
