Dr Vidgen completed a Bachelor of Science with an Anatomy major, graduating from the University of NSW in 1997. Dr Vidgen was the recipient of some academic prizes during this time; the Paxinos-Watson Prize for First Place in Neuro-anatomy and the Jane Skillen Prize for First Place in the Anatomy course overall. She completed post-graduate medicine at the University of Sydney in 2001 and commenced internship & resident years at Nepean Hospital. Further education has included a Graduate Certificate in Sports Medicine from the University of Sydney. Dr Vidgen has a special interest in Paediatrics, Sports Medicine, Women’s Health and Mental Health issues. Dr Vidgen has two children. Sport is a large part of her life and she has previously competed at a national level in karate. Corina enjoys reading and spends most of her spare time pursuing sporting endeavours such as triathlon, yoga and Pilates.
