Dr. Clare Cerchez grew up in Launceston, moving to Newcastle to obtain her MBBS. Since her graduation, she has spent time working throughout New South Wales, Northern Territory and Tasmania. Her most challenging time was working in Zambia where she spent two years, working in pediatric and adult medicine treating HIV, TB, Malaria and other infectious diseases. As a results of this, Clare has developed a special interest in infectious diseases, refugee health and travel medicine. She is extremely thorough and competent in the management of chronic diseases, right through to acute emergencies.
Clare is a mother of four young children and enjoys working with young people as she has a vast amount of experience in pediatric medicine. Her other special interests include men's health, antenatal care and sexual health.
Session Times: Clare is currently on maternity leave.
