Dr Claire Ransome is a Gynaecologist with special interests in colposcopy, menstrual disorders, contraception and menopause.
She trained at Monash University and commenced specialty training at Monash Medical Centre. She completed her Fellowship in the UK where she spent 3 years.
After working in Western Australia and Queensland she returned to Melbourne and commenced private practice in 1998.
Since this time she has held a position at Monash Medical Centre as a Specialist Gynaecologist in the Dysplasia Clinic and Menstrual Management Clinic at Moorabbin Hospital.
She is a member of the Board of Examiners for RANZCOG and is also a member of the ASCCP (Australian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology) and the Australian and New Zealand Society for the Study of Vulval Disease. She is also involved with teaching registrars and medical students.
