Dr Heinrich graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1968 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He worked at the Women's and Children's Hospital for 2 years before travelling to London, as the ship's surgeon, where he worked and trained. He worked in a Paediatric Hospital in the UK before returning to Adelaide in 1972. Dr Heinrich has worked extensively as a GP in the Eastern Suburbs for over 45 years. His medical interests include General medicine, obstetric shared care and chronic disease management.
